WEDDING WORKSHOP

 

We are very excited to be launching our new bespoke wedding workshops.

 

If you have ever fancied learning more about floristry and would like to either learn more in order to design and create your own flowers or allow Stella to lead a workshop for you and your wedding team then please do get in touch.

Here is what our bride Sophie had to say about the wedding workshop we created for her in June 2014...

 

 

"With a dedicated gardener for a mother and countless relatives and friends keen to help, we wanted, as far as possible, to be able to sort out our own wedding flowers. Needless to say though, we needed some professional guidance, which is where Stella came in! Stella came to the house for the two days before our wedding to project manage a team of about 12 of us. She would gather us all in the morning, split us into teams and then teach workshops showing us how to prepare candle stands and oasis etc for the church flowers, pew ends, table centres, button holes, bouquets and – best of all – the swags running around the marquee poles. I definitely wasn’t the sort of bride to disappear to a spa the day before the wedding and I can safely say that the two days of floristry before the wedding were the most fun part of the process! Stella is a wonderful teacher, patient with a bunch of excited amateurs and never phased by a problem. She’s so incredibly imaginative and it was wonderful for all of us to learn from her. The end product was just incredible. I’ve never seen so many flowers and we got endless comments from guests about how stunning they were. To know that we’d done it ourselves was so exciting and with Stella leading the pack it felt like the easiest thing in the world. I couldn’t recommend Stella’s workshop approach highly enough – I would do it again and again if I could!

Hand Tied Bouquet

 

Learn how to make a beautiful handtied bouquet for you or for your Mum in this fun and inspirational workshop.

 

This three hour class with Stella will teach you the skills of creating a handtied bouquet using the best seasonal blooms and foliages on offer, all wrapped in luxury packaging ready to gift.

 

 

All materials, tools and apron are included in the cost. Coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake on arrival.
